Greyhound Seats USA Drivers Continue to Score Results in First Quarter of 2022

March 30, 2022 – The first quarter of the 2022 North American karting season is in the books, and it was a successful one for Greyhound Seats drivers. Whether a Greyhound Seat was in a six-speed shifter kart, four-cycle chassis, or competed in wet or dry conditions, they managed to find their way to the top step of the podium in race winning performances.
Competing at the SimCraft 24 Hours of NOLA, Greyhound Seats USA drivers performed well showing speed in both qualifying and race conditions. With two entries, one in the Pro division and one in Heavy, qualifying efforts would see the two entrants qualifying seventh and second respectively in their classes. Once the wheel-to-wheel racing began, the Pro Kart ran in the top-three overall for the first seven hours and after taking over the second position, were forced to the sidelines after a stub axle failure. In the Heavy Class, the Greyhound Seats USA entry scored the win after running as high as fifth overall throughout the race and was consistently in the top-two in class. Retaking the lead within the last five minutes of the event, it was another win for Greyhound Seats USA.
“Endurance kart racing always takes a toll on the seat,” explained Team Manager/Adernaline Fix Karting Jim Conlin. “For a 24 hour race we knew we had to choose wisely. The Greyhound VRK provided the durability and the comfort to finish and win the SimCraft 24 Hours of NOLA."
Conlin went on to say, “The SimCraft 24 is the ultimate challenge in karting. The karts must do two seasons of racing in one weekend. We had the drivers, crew, and karts to podium in both classes, but the Pro kart needed a little more luck. Really proud of the team we put together for this.”
Precision Karting
In a completely different program, the Cup Karts WinterNationals, it was Precision Performance Karting that would bring the Greyhound Seat brand to the top step of the podium at the hands of Brandon Jarsocrak. Standing on the second step in the Senior Lite ranks, Jarsocrak claimed the Senior Medium Championship.
“Greyhound Seats are the seat of choice for my program,” explained Brandon Jarsocrak. “While there are many factors in finding speed, Greyhound Seats take the guess work out of a lot of it.”

AJ Myers delivered more victories for the Greyhound Seat brand as he dominated rounds three and four of the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Winter Series. Utilizing a Magik Kart USA fixed with a Greyhound Seat, Myers swept the weekend aboard his RS5/Magik Bolt chassis in the Shifter category in both wet and dry weather wheel-to-wheel racing.
Max Weiland won the four-stroke final and feature race at GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina aboard his Magik Kart USA Briggs Cadet. Competing at the Go Pro Karting Challenge and despite starting the prefinal in the 21st position, Weiland passed nineteen drivers to earn an outside front row starting position for the day’s main event. From there, Max turned in an exceptional drive to secure the hard-fought victory against a very talented field of competitors.
“We are very happy with the success of the Greyhound Seat brand and look forward to adding to our results resume as we move forward throughout the season,” explained Robert Bujdoso. “We have Greyhound Seats in stock and ready to ship or deliver trackside.
